Morel For Congress 2014 - District-21

Get involved

"I humbly ask that you review my record, go over my agenda, and note that I am not here to elevate myself but, again, for the benefit of our collective families and our district at-large. Now, I stand before you, humble and I ask for the privilege to serve the public interest. This seat belongs to the people."

About Me

I was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, by a single mother, where I attended College Frere Adrien Du Sacre-Coeur. Immigrated to the United States on December 1, 1975 at the age of 15. Graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School in June 1977. Enrolled at Lee College, now Lee University, in August 1977 to study Accounting and Theology. Graduated in May 1981. Worked as Investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor for 29 years, the last two years as Assistant District Director. Retired in August 2012. Recently started pastoring Lighthouse Ministries in West Palm Beach. Happily married to Theresa. Father of three, Stacey, Emmanuel Daniel, and Joshua. Grandfather of Xander. It has always been, it is now, and will always be about the family. They come first. I did not get to where I am by myself. I did not pull myself up by my bootstraps. I have been blessed and lucky to have been helped by numerous individuals along the way. The most important one, after Jehovah, is my mom. Then, it is the U.S. Government which made it possible for me to be educated through grants and loans. I am 54 years old and grateful for the privilege to have lived in the United States of America, where my story is possible.
